I have a Radeon x1950 pro graphics card, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me find out how to change the quality that it is set at. It's on the lowest quality and I'm not techie enough to fix it! Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Quality? What do you mean by quality?
Amount of colors?
Resolution?
Proformance vs More rending filters...
You kind to need to be more descriptive of your problem.

I agree with Snake. Quality as in going into the CCC and changing everything to "Quality" over "Performance"?

If it says its on LOW quality and thats most likely the graphical settings is that whilst your in the game or in the actualy graphics card?

Yes and no. There is quality settings in the more expensive Nvidia and ATI cards. You can access that panel when you right click on the desktop. Go to properties. Go to settings tab. Click advanced button in bottom right. There will be a tab in there will a performance verses quality slider. I always put it in the middle. That setting goes overtop the individual settings in the game. The driver setting is how the video card handles the game. When you change game settings it basically tells the video card how many rendering passes, how many passes of AA, etc.

By saying yes and no that made no sense since I said 'graphical settings' in which you basically gave the answer to 'graphical settings'
Oh and on the more expensive cards? Erm from the many graphics cards I have owned mid range ones also have this feature.
I once owned an ATi 9800pro and the settings are in a different way to the NVIDIA ones, the way you described it sounds like the NVIDIA settings.

Yes meaning there is a low quality setting.
No meaning this setting is completely different then in game settings.
The newer ones from the main manufacturers. Not the integrated graphics and generic brands.
The settings I said were off the top of my head and I have both used ATI and Nvidia. They are both in the same general location.

Ok. Because these options have been around since Geforce 3 from my own experience...I have owned 3 series, 4 series, 5 series now 6 series lol.

Oh and also the graphical settings are also in some games where you can increase or decrease them like in FarCry and Half Life 2. But yes the main changes are made also with the software for the graphics card itself.
I been a system user and builder for many years but maybe its difficult for me to explain lol.
