No, going without her is not an option. I need an overly elaborate plan, to get her, to go with me. She doesn't like Tool very much, but I know if we went to the concert she would end up loving them.

Good luck convincing her, then.

Ok GAMEOVER. It actually isn't a real dilemma in my life, but its a game for the forums. I ask for an elaborate scheme to convince somebody to do something for me and then people come up with funny ways to go about this. I probably should have went into more details on how to do this before I posted it. I guess, it would have been alot more fun if I posted it was a game first.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm bitter and depressed.

I'm confident that just about any other member would be more lively.

I saw Tool last year at the Staples Center in Los Angeles... In a freakin BOX SUITE!!! (for free!) It was beyond awesome and by far the best concert experience ever.....EVER.... Everything was catered with food and 2 fridges stocked with beer/soda and cabinet full of hard liquor.......and they came by halfway through the concert with a dessert cart.... Edible chocolate shot glasses with Baileys or Grand Marnier....and every other dessert you can think of for free *drools* ... oh... not to mention that Tool is pretty much awesome and live shows don't even compare to studio recordings

Both times I saw Tool, Maynard was no where to be seen.

The first time, he did the whole show behind the drums, the second time, he came out with yellow cotton swabs all over his body, sang one song, and finished his set offstage someplace. The guy is brilliant...and odd.
