Go to wiki and search "Avitar" redirects you to Avatar. Just another (though probably not official) way to spell it.

Doesn't mean it's a word, just means it's misspelled that much.

I've seen it shortened most commonly as avi, not ava, which means it could def. be spelled as avitar. Although, avi probably just sounds better than ava (maybe...?)
