Tomorrow I leave for Kansas City, Missouri to compete in Collegiate Team Trials for a chance to be on the Collegiate USA National Team in Taekwondo and an opportunity to go to Bangkok, Thailand to compete in the World University Games. This is the biggest competition i've fought in in my entire life, so here's to hoping luck is on my side and I get a chance to represent America in the sport I love doing.
Also, anyone in KC, if you have some free time on saturday, i'll be around until 6:00 PM because I caught a late flight, so maybe we could hook up and go to an arcade or play something. Hit me up in this thread.

Well, guys, I'm back and with disappointing news, unfortunately
It was a double elimination style tournament. My first fight, I was ahead going into the final round by a score of 2-1 and then a kick exchange that I slipped on the mat during gave my opponent the lead and he never looked back. This fight ended in a loss for me 3-5
My second fight, I got absolutely, well, shafted by the refs. I couldn't get a point for the life of me during it. It ended in a loss 0-3.
Oh well, better luck next time as I always say. I've got national championships to look forward to, as well as my shot at the Olympic Qualifiers. Sorry to come back with such downing news, though.
