This is not a tournament, this is THE FIRST EVER RALLY FOR GAMERS. There will be many things to do including casual gaming, music, and media coverage. Possible media outlets who have show interest is MTV, CNET and MSNBC. A trifecta of support will be at this rally, JC Media + Entertainment (http://www.jc-media.com) (Industry) Empire Arcadia (http://www.empirearcadia.com) (Community) and ECA (http://www.theeca.com) (Legislative). Feel free to bring your PSP or DS Lite, however JC Media will be bringing up televisions, consoles and games for gamers can play and have a good time in a peaceful manner.

Everyone has heard about the news about the shooting at Virgina Tech. A tragedy like this is never easy to see, and often times people question who is to blame. Some media has placed the blame on video games, and even worse, there are politicians who hate video games, and are doing everything they can to stop this great past time of ours. This rally is the community's chance to have a voice to the world. We want to show everyone that gaming is just a fun and exciting activity to spend your free time. Come to show your support in protest to the negative image portrayed to video games.

Canibus and K-Solo will be performing their music to support our rally and to show respect to the friends and family who were killed at Virginia Tech. Also, they will be performing ORIGINAL NEVER HEARD BEFORE SPECIFICALLY MADE SONGS FOR THIS EVENT! We are all coming together to fight the negative image of gamers. Leaders in our community will all be there to show support, and and to speak to the media. Last but not certainly least, Gamers United Radio (http://GURadio.com) will be in attendance to cover and commentate on everything that happens.


BTW .. We will also be hosting are famous Wii Sports Home run Derby "Wii Whack-Off!"

Holiday Inn on 138 Lafayette Street in Downtown Manhattan.

The time is still the same 1:00 pm on Saturday May 5th
