If he's still having trouble pm me his info and I'll register him manually. But usually you just need to confirm your account through the email we send you and you should be good to post.

It might also be that he doesn't have cookies enabled or Javascript. I use Firefox and have a script disabler add-on (it's amazing how much less spyware I get now), and I had to set it to allow the forums.
Oh and gypsy I had to comment about your sig. I think it's funny. Especially because the kid who calls himself a hacker is probably some little kid who found a program on the internet. If you've ever been in a Yahoo!(tm) Chat room you'd see alot of them out there. Kiddies who find booters on the internet and then use them to force people out of the rooms and then think they're hackers. It's quite funny. Especially when they can't do it to you. :D
Anyways, I wouldn't call him (or her) a "hacker" or a "cracker" (isn't that what black people call white people? I remember seeing Chris Rock or something calling white people crackers during a stand up comedy act). I'd just call it a kiddie with a program. You shouldn't give the person TOO much credit :p .

lol, in actual truth, cracker, hacker is one and the same thing, what you use the knowledge for is just based on moral values, which is also subjective. What is funny though is what ESR says, his word's quite an amusing read anyways.
Ok, one of the main reasons why i don't think theres any difference is bcos of the role in which reverse engineering plays in software development. i'm not talking about your day to day programs, i'm talking about programs........................ok you know what, forget i said anything. Crackers are Bad, and Hackers are the good'ol angels:rolleyes:
Anyways, props for the presence of an instance of the game of life sequence in your Hacker/Cracker sig....lol:D
