I just wanted to take moment to welcome all gaming communities to PMSClan.com. You're all free to roam and check out our handbook and rules. We love to see you fill our forums with meaningful posts and updating us about events in our Event Section. Please make sure to read all posted rules and guidelines. It's generally a good idea to read a few posts first to get a "feeling" for the community. When you're ready to post make an Introduction thread and say hi!

If you see something you like by all means use it as a guide to help build your community. We would definitely appreciate it if you stated where you took your structure and ideas from though. This by all means is not an invitation to plagiarize our handbook, or copy us in every way. However, we are very open with how our clan and organization is structured and run. If you want questions or advice ask in our General section, we have a ton of folks from other clans or people not in a clan at all, regardless all of us in the community can give you advice.

Again, if you use something or borrow something from PMS (not our names, logos, or slogans, trademarks obviously), please remember to acknowledge us. We usually find out if you don't ; )

In order to build a flourishing and enduring community you need to have your own identity to keep the interest of your members. And in order to have any luck with sponsorship to grow that community and build incentives for your members you definitely need something of your own to attract attention.

Ethical Standards of Personal Responsibility

PMS|H2O Clan expects that its Members act with the highest ethical standards while conducting Clan business. Doing the right thing and acting with integrity are the two driving forces behind both the PMS Clan’s success and the H2O Clan’s main purpose. When faced with ethical issues, Members are expected to make a professional decision, consistent with PMS|H2O Clan’s principles and standards or they may be susceptible to immediate termination from the clan.
All Members of PMS|H2O Clan are to always play fair.
There is to be no cheating/glitching of any kind.
This includes but is not limited to:

• Using cheat codes
• Using a modified console to obtain access to software or services without paying
• Stand-bying, bridging, or ANY other form of interfering with another Gamer's connectivity.
• Allowing another gamer to use a Clan OR Personal Gamertag|Tag|Handle to increase in-game rank or unlock achievements/trophies.

If Members are caught cheating, or knowingly participating in a game where other people on the team were cheating, it may result in immediate membership termination from PMS Clan Inc.

• If Members find themselves in this situation, they are required to immediately quit the game and report the situation to their direct Leader.

We thank you for registering on our forums, however we do not appreciate you taking the information posted by our recruits for our divisions and using it to recruit for your clans and teams.

Not only is it disrespectful to us it's disrespectful to the recruits who you harass on line with a constant stream of invites and your clan recruitment spiel.

We understand the difficulties recruiting especially if you're a new clan, however we work very hard to protect our recruits. And understand we worked hard for the recruits we gained, so all clans can definitely do the same. We suggest going to Xbox.com or other forums that allow clan recruitment and posting there.

If we find that you are recruiting off our forum, harassing our girls, or promoting your clan in order to recruit you will simply be banned. You are still allowed to have your clan sig (within your sig requirements), but that's about it.

Q. How do I join the PMS/H2O Clan?

A.

Getting started is really simple, just start by registering as a user on the forums. Once you have authorized your account from the link emailed to you, return to the forums and simply navigate to "Want to join PMS Clan or H2O Clan?", in the Recruitment, Challengs and Clan Regulations Arena. (See Below.) Click this link.



From this page, you can see all the Platforms we currently have Divisions on. Choose the Platform you will be playing on.
(For the purpose of this FAQ, the Xbox Division was chosen.)



Now, choose which Game you wish to play.
(For the purpose of this FAQ, Gears of War 2 was chosen.)



The PMS and H2O Clans have a Membership which span the globe, and as such is broken into five Regions: Asia, Europe, North America, Pacific Islands and South America. If a Division is not available in your specific Region, please choose the closes Region to you, and make a clear note in your application of your location.
(For the purpose of this FAQ, North America was chosen.)



This is where you make the final choice, do you want to Recruit into a PMS Division, an H2O Division or a co-ed PMS|H2O Division?
(For the purpose of this FAQ, the PMS Division was chosen.)


Now that you have reached the division you would like to recruit into, it becomes a little more interesting.
Before before you post an application, be sure to read all the sticky threads in the section, so that you understand the rules and what will expected from you.

Now that you have done that we will move on to the actual application.



Q. Where do I fill out an Application for a Division?
A.

In order to begin your official journey to become an accepted Recruit, you need to fill out an application in the appropriate Division section. Look for a link that says "Project: (Name of Division Here) Recruitment Applications."
(For the purpose of this FAQ, the H2O NA COD 360 Division was chosen.)



The information outlined in blue in the below picture is the information which is REQUIRED in your application. However, *NOTE*: this information may be different from what appears in this guide, as is appropriate to the game/platform. Be sure to copy and paste the required information which appears in your appropriate Division.

Congratulations, it is now time to make your official Application!




Q. Now that I found the Application how do I fill it out?
A.

Copy and paste the information requested on the previous screen, and fill it out.
(The required information has already been pasted into this application.)



There are a couple of drop down boxes that should be filled out as follows:
Category: has several options - if you are not currently a member of the PMS or H2O Clan, choose "New Recruit".


Priority is not used - ignore.

Method of subscribing to the application is your personal preference, but we suggest you do subscribe, and choose daily emails. By subscribe to your Application, when a reply is made, or a status is changed or updated you will recieve an email at the account you registered on the forums - especially useful for knowing when your application has been accepted. It is YOUR responsibility to check your recruitment application for replies from the Recruitment Managers or Division Leaders.


Once you have done all this simply click Save. Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate Recruitment Manager(s) and Division Leader(s), and you should receive a reply within a reasonable time period.

Note: If you accidentally posted in the wrong Division, fear not! Simply post a reply in your application, and request that it be moved to the correct Division, and the Manager(s)/Leader(s) would be pleased to accommodate you.

You have now submitted your Recruitment Application for PMS or H2O Clan.

I just want to make a quick announcement that honestly I wish I didn't have to make and make sure you all understand that despite the fact that we are a little more liberal with people and threads, this is still an open and friendly community. Rude reply's and general hostile behavior to other community members will NOT be tolerated.

With an influx of new members and a slight apathetic wave that seems to be moving through our community, it saddens me to see an increase of rude posts and less welcoming posts.

• Your post WILL be removed by leaders, mods, or admins if found to be rude or hostile to other members.

• Don't be a troll, flamer, or general forum griefer just to get attention or show how "different" or "unique" you are. It's old and looks pretty tacky.

• Don't think you're a privileged community member because you're a former clan member/leader/or Admin/leader favorite. All staff members have friends in the community. But trust me when I say there will be no special treatment here if you violate forum rules. If a leader/mod/admin is found giving special privileges in any way, they will be dealt with as well.

• If you find a consistent hostile poster ignore their post and just report it.

• If you are a clan member that is a hostile poster, note that there may be more severe repercussions that involve your division status. I suggest not jeopardizing your future in the clan for a little attention, if you're having a bad day, or just to join another persons bandwagon.

• If you the OP(original poster) and you're friends with the person being hostile or it's an inside joke..please make that clear in the post and understand if we don't know what's going on, it will just be removed. So if you don't want your friend looking like a jerk, let us know.
