We are encouraging gamers from all platforms to unite and participate in the Extra Life charity event on October 20th, 2012. This year PMS Clan will be gathering in solidarity under one team by the name of "PMS Pandora's Hope." Our goal is to have 100% fundraising participation.

For those who don't know, Extra Life is a 24-hour gaming marathon to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. You don't have to play the full 24 hours to take part in the marathon; any time you can commit to the event is welcome. If you can't participate at all, simply sponsoring your friends' marathon is enough to make a difference.

We have a lot of cool plans for the event this year so stay tuned! In the meantime, you should go register. During the registration process, choose the “Join a team” option to be a hero to those in need with your fellow PMS ladies and H2O men.

Dangerdoll PMS, PMS|H2O Charity Director, had this to say about her experience with Extra Life.

"I participate in Extra Life because I am the parent of two girls. I cannot imagine them having to go through what some of the brave children of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals have to go through. I thoroughly enjoy Extra Life since it combines 3 of my favorite things: helping, gaming and my friends. Though these are just my reasons, I know many people who love Extra Life and are not parents but gamers with big hearts. There are those few non-gamer people out there who believe that we are rogues who have no goodness in our hearts or care nothing about anyone but ourselves but as last year's fundraising of over a million dollars showed, THEY ARE WRONG. Why not be a part of something big, full of goodness and fun. Together, we can be a force to be reckoned with!"
