H2O Mystakin: Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do in the clan currently.
Mirage PMS: Well, my name is Tiffany or Mirage PMS on the forums. I am 23 yrs old, CNA Certified and a Caregiver. I recently stepped up from being Co-Leader to Division Leader of the PMS|H2O World of Warcraft.
H2O Mystakin: What's it like being a division leader for an MMO?
Mirage PMS: Well, it can be stressful -- what position isn't -- and it can be amazing to feel important and make the best I can for my lovely Division. It makes you feel like a role model for your "children," aka the Division Members.
H2O Mystakin: So there's pressure to set an example on top of being the leader?
Mirage PMS: Of course! When you first start being a Leader, you're trying your best not to mess up and show how good you can be. After you've been on for a while, it becomes less pressure for sure.
H2O Mystakin: What brought you to PMS clan initially?
Mirage PMS: Well, I was playing Halo 2 on my brothers account and met members named Jump Guy H2O and H2O Angel, though I've completely forgotten how. They were trying to convince me to join, promising cookies if I did. How tempting that was! I didn't want to join until I had gotten my own Gamertag, though. It would've been awkward having a guy GT and then a female voice coming out of it. Once I did get my own I joined the clan as Lady Xenocide. PMS Righty recruited me. I went into PMS Bravo, a subdivision within Halo 2, and met my soon-to-be big sisters Kitteh and Mesmerize. I've loved PMS ever since.
H2O Mystakin: Any fond memories of divisions before WoW? Obviously you were in Halo 2 for a while
Mirage PMS: Oh yes, haha. I remember in Halo 2 when Agent PMS and some others were doing Matchmaking, we were saying that I needed a hearing aid for the "Poor Mirage Foundation" and we had this guy believing it and about to donate money. I remember Deja-Vu PMS becoming my Division Leader and we all made her feel oh so welcome, hehehe. In Call of Duty 4 I met miss Athena Twin PMS, that was amazing. I played custom matches with her and the rest of my Division, it was fun!
H2O Mystakin: Could you talk about why you changed your handle from Lady Xenocide to Mirage and how you came up with those names?
Mirage PMS: Haha, I actually don't know why I wanted Lady Xenocide. It sounded awesome and was fitting for a First-Person Shooter. Mirage was so me. I came up with that because I needed something couple-like for my boyfriend at the time. First it was Osiris and Isis -- awkward -- and then Mirage and Illusion came to mind.
H2O Mystakin: What originally got you into gaming and how are some games from your early gaming days that are dear to you?
Mirage PMS: Originally, it started out me watching my brothers play Metal Gear, Splinter Cell, Halo and eventually Halo 2. Then, I was like "I want to get in on this." So I tried playing Counter Strike and died so much. I had to stop playing that. I picked up my brother's copy of Halo 2 and fell in love with it. I played it for 2 days straight when I got home from college. The game that's dear to me is Final Fantasy 7. I played that game so much that friends starting calling me Tifa, which is sort of short for my real name. I look a bit like her depending on how I angle my face, or at least that's what others have said.
H2O Mystakin: haha, rad! That means no one should mess with you! Do you have any shoutouts to other members?
Mirage PMS: Shoutouts to Kuro, my little cake buddy; Akasha, my sister from another mister; Kestral Kessypoo; UncleBobby for being my Dr.Phil when I needed him; Kitteh for being my awesome big sis and to my WoW Division! Love you guys.
H2O Mystakin: Could you give us 5 surprising facts people may not know about you?
Mirage PMS:
1. I'm a shy girl.
2. I have a birthmark on my arm.
3. I hate clowns.
4. I don't like scary movies, especially at night.
5. I am scared of Ventrilo.
